In my own words

Recently had Marthe ask me a few questions about what I do. My responses are below:

I offer clarity and empowering roadmaps for people with a digestive component to their health concerns. I do so with eastern and western diagnostic tools, and inviting in the person’s intuition into the process.

I’m Ingrid Peterson, a licensed acupuncturist, microbiome gardener and space tender. I co-founded Moon Landing Meditative Arts to welcome my creative and spiritual side fully into my offerings, and to bolster the Bay Areas community of medicine carriers and art spirits.

I fell in deep infatuation with Chinese Medicine when I lived in China in my 20’s. I loved the energetics of food and widespread use of herbs, and that a TCM practitioner always seemed to have an explanation for seemingly unrelated symptoms.

I received my masters in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO in 2011, and am comfortable blending the best of east and west to address skin and gut conditions.

I treat clients at Moon Landing with acupuncture and big picture ideating sessions, as well as coach clients all over the country over the phone.

A great place to start to get to know one another is with a free exploratory call.

I love giving treatments in the womb room at Moon Landing, people not only get a nice acu-nap, but a chance to energetically leave it all at the door. One future vision I’m excited about is gathering folks around making and sharing soup! My creative wheels are turning around collaborations with other talented resident members, more to come!
